Normie and Denise have been friends since they were teenagers. When they met, he was an emerging recording artist on The GO!! Show and she was recognised as Australia’s first go-go dancer on a new music show, Kommotion. Their careers since have seen them enjoy success across the entertainment spectrum. While enjoying a string of hits – “Shakin’ All Over”, “Que Sera Sera”, “It Ain’t Necessarily So”, and “Ooh La La”, Normie was at the peak of his pop stardom when he was called up and spent two years in the Army, including service in Vietnam. On his return, he re-established his career in major Sydney Clubs and television and his memorable role as Jean Valjean in “Les Miserable”.

The Ettalong Diggers Club NSW is nestled right on the waterfront at Ettalong Beach, overlooking Broken Bay and Lion Island, with views south to Palm Beach. It’s easy to get to the Club with signs from the Gosford exit of the F3 Freeway, ample free parking and nearby Woy Woy train station – where our courtesy bus will be happy to pick you up. Or if you are coming from Sydney, why not take the ferry from Palm Beach, directly to Ettalong Beach.
